Chester County Home to Five of the 15 Hottest Towns in the Western Suburbs

According to local realtors, Chester County is home to five of the 15 hottest towns in Philadelphia’s western suburbs for people looking to relocate, write Lisa Dukart and Melissa Jacobs for Main Line Today.

Devon, which has always had upscale homes, has seen its desirability improve with the new Devon Yard. The town also recently added Berkley Brownstones, which offer luxury townhouse living. The area also features the Tredyffrin/Easttown School District and Devon Horse Show.

Downingtown is ideal for families looking for more space. The most popular option is Toll Brothers’ Chestnut Ridge with its newer construction and modern conveniences. There is also Marsh Creek State Park and Victory Brewing Company.

Phoenixville has become a magnet for young families and millennials who enjoy its affordability and a thriving downtown that has recently undergone a renaissance.

Meanwhile, Kennett Square has a bustling downtown and critically acclaimed restaurants. Nearby are Longwood Gardens and Galer Estate Vineyard and Winery.

West Chester is also on the list, with its downtown boutiques, restaurants, and community events at the Uptown! Knauer Performing Arts Center.
