The YMCA of Greater Brandywine is an association of eight YMCAs that offer life-changing sports, fitness, and educational programs for children, adults, and families. It has more than 80,000 members throughout Chester County.

Advanced Director of Youth Development (Jennersville)

This position supports the development and oversight of departmental budgets; ensures high-quality programs through innovative program development, program evaluation, and staff training; and recruits, trains, and manages direct reports and department staff.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in education or human services; three or more years of leadership experience, including supervising camp programs and childcare; and superior relationship-building and organizational skills.

Child Care Lead Teacher (West Chester)

This position creates and implements lesson plans and maintains a safe learning environment for the children; plans and implements educational programs that meet the children’s emotional, physical, intellectual, and social needs; and supervises assistant teachers.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, child development, or a related discipline that complies with DHS regulations; experience developing and implementing programs for multiple ages; and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Personal Trainer & Wellness Attendant (Brandywine)

This position conducts consultations based on branch guidelines and provides safe and professional assistance; provides one-on-one personal training; markets and promotes the YMCA’s personal training services; and offers advice, spotting, and other assistance to members.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED and a nationally accredited Personal Training Certification; a genuine interest in fitness and advanced knowledge of proper fitness form; and excellent interpersonal skills.
