Following a two-year search for new offices, USSC Group has finally moved into its new building on 101 Gordon Drive in Exton, writes Natalie Kostelni for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The company signed a 15-year lease with E. Kahn Development and Goodman Properties for the 325,000-square-foot building, directly across from its former, but significantly smaller home.

“No matter where we looked, the loss of talent was not palatable for us,” said USSC Group CEO Joseph F. Mirabile.

The company, which has 60 percent of the North American market for mass transit seating, moved into its new home two weeks ago. The building sat vacant for four years after West Pharmaceutical Services moved to another location.

Now, USSC Group is ramping up hiring. The company, which currently has 300 employees in Exton, is opening 75 new positions and expects to hire another 140 people over the next two years.

“This is a very significant commitment for us,” said Mirabile. “With this facility, we feel it’s Day One for the next phase of the company.”
