Founded in 1918, Church Farm School is a mission-driven Episcopal school that provides substantial financial support to a promising and exceptionally diverse group of deserving young men. Located in Exton, CFS offers a college preparatory education in a boarding/day environment for 200 students in grades 9-12.

Director of Development

This position serves as part of the school’s administrative team and reports directly to the Head of School. He/she is specifically charged to design and oversee all aspects of a strong, vibrant, and successful development program. The person will attract the maximum financial gift support possible for the school; deepen existing relationships within and among various individuals and entities contributing annually to the school; and increase the number of donors across all constituencies.

He/she will plan, direct, coordinate, supervise, and evaluate all operations and policies of the Development Office; work closely with and assist the Head of School with special administrative projects; and identify and build relationships with new donors and foundations.

The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated leadership of Development programs at Director or Assistant Director level, including a track record of successful fundraising, deep experience with capital campaigns, and strong educational credentials. Relevant advanced degree(s) and professional certifications will be considered positively. He/she will a commitment to service in support of the school’s mission, its staff, and volunteers.
