Court Reporter I

This position produces verbatim recordings of judicial proceedings; prepares certified transcripts for litigants, attorneys, and the court; orally reads testimony to presiding judges, hearing officers, and masters to aid in the writing of their decisions; and helps coordinate efficient production of transcripts.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED; the ability to write, at 95 percent accuracy, a minimum of 225 wpm for testimony, 200 wpm for jury charges, and 180 wpm for literary material; training to perform verbatim reporting and transcription of testimony at high speeds.

Environmental Health Supervisor (Food & Institutions)

This position provides leadership, direction, and training for staff; maintains technical standardization among the group; prepares performance evaluations and handles disciplinary issues; performs site inspections; and prepares, distributes, and maintains records of inspections and investigations.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree and five years of job-related experience; proven supervisory and management skills; working knowledge of code enforcement, public health vectors, and environmental health principles; and a general understanding of fiscal planning.

Charge Nurse

This position oversees the daily functions of the nursing units in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulations; participates in SNF planning, decision making, and policy formation; and performs audits and prepares reports and performance evaluations as needed.

The ideal candidate will possess registered nurse licensure and experience in long-term care; working knowledge of Pennsylvania state nursing and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid regulations; general understanding of fiscal planning and human resource guidelines; and excellent interpersonal skills.
