Director, Training and DevelopmentChester County Jobs

Are you a confident person with a positive and upbeat attitude? If so, this might be the perfect position for you. The YMCA, of Greater Brandywine, is currently looking for a development and training director. The director will be responsible for determining different training needs, delivering key trainings, creating training calendars, maintaining the training tracking system and providing data for succession planning.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in education, human resources, or business (practical training experience may be substituted), a minimum, five years of experience working in a training environment and have excellent verbal, writer, and presentation skills.

Engagement Center Specialist

The YMCA, in Greater Brandywine Valley, is looking for a part-time Engagement Center Specialist. Some responsibilities include contacting members to share timely program information and registering participants. The Specialist will also be responsible for assisting the YMCA’s Finance Department.

One applying for this position must have 1-2 years in YMCA Member Services experience or similar experience in a customer service role. The ideal candidate should have experience in telephone sales, program promotion and/or participant registration skills and must be able to communicate effectively. One must be proficient in a variety of computer software.

Business Manager

The YMCA, at the Lionville Community, is looking for a part-time Business Manager. The Business Manager will be responsible for ensuring business procedures are followed at the branch and be responsible for the registration, billing and collections of all child care and camp registration.

One applying for this position must have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and have a minimum of two years business and/or office administration.  Basic accounting skills and experience with business software and office machines is a plus.
