Each year, on the first Saturday of December, Santa and Mrs. Claus make a visit to The Arc of Chester County, and on Dec. 1, The Arc and volunteers from The Upper Main Line Rotary are excited to welcome the community to this fun holiday event.

The Arc of Chester County, an organization that offers services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families from birth through an individual’s lifetime, operates a fully-inclusive preschool, where children with and without disabilities learn together and prepare for kindergarten. Additionally, for children in school, The Arc of Chester County offers Education Advocacy Services aimed to assist families in ensuring that their child has the supports they need to be successful in school.

The Arc also offers many services for adults, such as a Comprehensive Employment Program and several Community Inclusion Programs.

While the breakfast is a natural fit for those families receiving programming from The Arc, they are excited to open their doors to the community to enjoy this event as well.

Visiting Santa at the mall or other venues can be intimidating and stressful for both the children and the family, particularly those with sensory processing issues. By offering the opportunity to visit Santa and take photos in a controlled, comfortable environment, these stressors are minimized.

Breakfast with Santa will take place from 9-11 AM and costs $25 per family. A pancake breakfast, crafts, music, and – of course – a visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus are all included.

Click here to register online by Thursday, Nov. 29. All ages are welcome. Walk-ins are also accepted.
