The West Chester Charity Ball, benefitting the programs and services of Friends Association for Care & Protection of Children, returns this year in person.

The Charity Ball has been a longstanding local tradition of fun and philanthropy and has brought community members together during the holiday season for 33 years.

This year, the event returns Dec. 4 at 6 p.m. with a sit-down dinner along with the opportunity to join Chester County individuals and businesses in the effort to end homelessness and housing insecurity in the community.

“We are honored to benefit from the event’s longstanding history of generous support and community care” says Jennifer Lopez, Friends Association CEO.  “This year, more than ever, we have seen the outpouring of support from the Chester County community, and it has made a true difference.

“As we continue to recover from the pandemic and work towards housing security for all, we rely heavily on our supporters and on the engagement of the community.  The West Chester Charity Ball is a fun and festive way for everyone to get involved.”

New this year, guests can enjoy reserved seating for dinner at the West Chester Golf & Country Club as well as live music, dancing, a live and silent auction, and many other ways to support Friends’ mission.

A. Marinelli & Sons has provided generous support for the event for many years and will once again be the event’s 2021 Presenting Sponsor.

Barbara Diorio, Friends Association Board President says, “We are thrilled to be back in person this year to celebrate this longstanding tradition of generosity at the holidays and are humbled by the ongoing support that this event provides”.

Sponsorship opportunities are available now and include reserved seating.  Tickets are limited and will be on sale beginning in mid-October.

Working throughout Chester County, Friends Association provides programs and services that prevent homelessness and promote the independence of families with children.
