People-Focused Culture Makes RKL One of State’s Best Places to Work

By

For the second consecutive year, RKL has been named among Pennsylvania’s Best Places to Work. The consulting and advisory firm deepened its ties to the Chester County business community earlier this year with the opening of its new, full-service office in the Exton Corporate Center, which allows the RKL team to deliver closer, more personalized service to its sizeable client base in Greater Philadelphia.

RKL’s focus on driving real results for its clients, which range from promising startups to multinational enterprises, is made possible by the firm’s collaborative and problem-solving team of more than 400 professionals. According to CEO Ed Monborne, these talented professionals are the lifeblood of RKL’s continued growth and success.

“It’s a pretty straightforward strategy – find great talent, develop your people, and they’ll be empowered to innovate and deliver solutions you never thought possible,” said Monborne.

Human resources consulting, outsourced financial reporting, data analytics, and supply chain optimization are just a few of the newest solutions developed by RKL advisors in response to emerging demand from clients and changes in the economic landscape. The firm’s geographic expansion and innovative menu of capabilities unlock unlimited possibilities not only for RKL’s clients, but also its dynamic team.

This ever-widening menu of business disciplines and a variety of types and sizes of clients (including Exton-based nonprofit Mosaic SA) offer RKL team members exposure to diverse career paths, while robust learning and development, mentoring, and community leadership programs cultivate the collaborative and forward-thinking professionals for which the firm is known. Each year, RKL welcomes approximately 50 interns firm-wide, continuing a tradition of growing the next generation of business leaders.

For Barry Pelagatti, Exton Office Managing Partner, involvement with RKL’s talent development initiatives keep him and other firm leaders inspired for the future.

“RKL team members take pride in working at an industry-leading firm,” Pelagatti said. “One of the best parts of my job is channeling the high level of enthusiasm around the new opportunities that our firm’s expansion and innovation afford us all.”

This entrepreneurial mindset isn’t the only reason RKL stands as an employer of choice in the Commonwealth. Called by its mission to “enrich the lives of its team, clients and community,” the firm is equally committed to the personal growth of its team members. Social activities and team-building events in and out of the office encourage strong bonds and lasting friendships among the RKL team. Whether its volunteering alongside colleagues or getting involved in causes they’re personally passionate about, RKL also provides team members a number of ways to build meaningful community connections.

This fall, RKL is sharing its people-focused story on campuses throughout Pennsylvania as it searches for the next generation of outside-the-box thinkers and skilled strategists.
