Indulge without the bulge.

That’s the motto of Kyle Peters, a personal trainer, former college lacrosse player, and the founder of Six-Pack Creamery, writes Caroline Cunningham for Philadelphia magazine.

Based in West Chester, Six-Pack Creamery packs high levels of protein in its ice cream. Peters decided to make the healthier ice cream option after noticing that his love for ice cream and frozen yogurt was causing him to put on weight.

“I knew there were other brands out there, and I had eaten them before, but they just weren’t the same and I felt I could do better,” said Peters. “I always wanted to own my own business, so one day, I decided to go to Bed Bath & Beyond to buy an ice cream machine and started messing around to see if this could be my future business.”

Two years after experimenting with recipes, he had his product, which comes in Lean Mean Vanilla Bean and Cocoa Milk Muscles and contains 40 grams of protein, 10 grams of fat, and 27 grams of sugar per pint.
