Allplan – a European software company that provides BIM (building information modeling) solutions for architects, civil engineers, and building contractors – is opening an office in West Chester, its first office outside of Europe, to cover the North American market, writes Emily Pollock for Engineering.com.
Allplan announced the opening last week and has already chosen a leadership team for the new location.
“The opening of the U.S. office is an amazing opportunity, and I’m glad to be part of such an innovative company at the forefront of digitizing the AEC (architecture, engineering, and construction) market,” said Simon Slater, the new American SVP of Marketing.

In discussing the West Chester office, Allplan CEO Richard Brotherton emphasized the international importance of the new location.
“After a very successful launch of the U.K. office last year and the great feedback and results we have seen, the new U.S. office is the next logical part of our international growth strategy,” he said.
