Harrison Senior Living – which operates the Harrison House of Chester County, located in Coatesville, and the Harrison House of Christiana – will host an open house to celebrate the debut of its Advanced Disease Management Program, Arbor with Holisticare.

Meet the teams and enjoy a tour of the community and light refreshments at the Harrison House of Christiana, located at 41 Newport Avenue, on Thursday, May 31 from 3-5 PM.

Arbor with Holisticare is set in the original farmhouse within Harrison House of Christiana, a skilled nursing community situated on a picturesque farm, complete with grazing horses. The pastoral setting and landscaped grounds combine to create the feeling of serenity and spaciousness found in rural living.

Arbor with Holisticare aims to bridge the gap in the healthcare continuum and help improve transitions of care by addressing advanced disease processes, uncontrolled pain, and end-of-life decision-making.

A team of skilled caregivers provides the hospitality and warmth that make the community feel like home. Harrison House of Christiana has partnered with Holisticare Hospice to provide palliative care consultations and end-of-life hospice care. Holisticare Hospice is committed to treating each patient and their loved ones as true individuals, tailoring a plan of care to the needs of the family as a whole.

By embracing a holistic model of care and augmenting traditional hospice medical care with alternative therapies, Holisticare provides greater comfort, peace, and tranquility during one of the most important phases of life.
