Ken Goldsborough, a building maintenance technician at West Chester’s Acero Precision, has been honored for his three decades with the company, writes Bill Rettew for the Daily Local News.

Goldsborough, a graduate of Elwyn Institute, has been with Acero since 1988. To this day, he is well-known among co-workers for always arriving at work with a smile on his face and never forgetting a name.

During a recent picnic held in his honor, Goldsborough was saluted by around 120 of his co-workers. He received a trophy, sizable check, and huge cake with his photo on it.

Acero Precision owner Michael Fitzgerald spoke about Goldsborough’s start on machines and how he worked his way up from there.

“Ken’s ability to get his work done and keep his work area looking perfect at all times naturally evolved into a new role for him as building maintenance technician,” said Fitzgerald.

He said that Goldsborough is known for being able to bring a smile to everybody’s face with his positive attitude, daily greetings, and kind words.
