The Philadelphia Flyers have honored Andi Youndt, the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at the YMCA of Greater Brandywine, as a Community Teammate.
The Flyers, in partnership with Philadelphia Insurance Companies, recognize Community Teammates throughout the Greater Philadelphia area for their service and dedication to improving their community.
“Andi is one of the most generous people I know,” said Denise Day, CEO of the YMCA of Greater Brandywine. “She really wants to make a difference. She’s a true servant-leader.”
For more than 16 years, Youndt has been volunteering in Peru and has sponsored three boys there so that they could go to school.
