No Surprise Here: Chester County Home to 2018’s Best Place to Live in Pennsylvania

Chester County placed five municipalities among the Top 25 Best Places to Live in Pennsylvania, with Chesterbrook taking the top spot, according to this year’s rankings published by Niche.com.

The list is based on data from a number of sources, including the U.S. Census, FBI, and Bureau of Labor Statistics. Key factors in the rankings include level of education, cost of living, housing, outdoor activities, and walkability.

Chesterbrook took first place, second nationally, with an Overall Niche Grade of A+. The town also topped the list of Best Places to Raise a Family in Pennsylvania.

Berwyn came in 10th with an Overall Niche Grade of A+. The town also placed fourth on Best Places to Retire in Pennsylvania and sixth on the Best Places to Raise a Family in Pennsylvania.

Next on the list is Upper Uwchlan Township at No. 20. It also checked in at No. 13 on the Best Places to Raise a Family in Pennsylvania.

The ranking is rounded off with Charlestown Township at No. 22 and East Whiteland Township at No. 24.
