Vote for Your Favorite ‘What’s So Cool About Manufacturing?’ Video

By

Public voting for the annual “What’s So Cool About Manufacturing?” student video contest for Chester and Delaware counties is open until the end of Feb. 16.

The contest is presented by Manufacturing Alliance of Chester and Delaware Counties, an initiative from the Chester County Economic Development Council and Delaware County Community College.

The contest gives students in Chester and Delaware counties a chance to connect directly with local manufacturers, record their experiences, and then present them in both an educational and “cool” way. The goal is to generate excitement and attract students to a career in manufacturing.

The video that receives the most votes from the public will receive the “Viewer’s Choice Award.” A judges’ panel will also review the videos for awards in other categories, including Outstanding Educational Value and Outstanding Creativity.

“This project was designed to raise awareness of different manufacturing career opportunities in an exciting way for our students!” said Patti VanCleave, Project Manager at CCEDC. “We encourage everyone to view the videos and vote.”
