The Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce has started the new year with a new home, writes Bill Rettew for the Daily Local News.

On Jan. 1, the chamber moved into its new office located at 137 North High Street, just a half-block from its old headquarters.

Being so close did not make the process any less of a hassle, though, joked Mark Yoder, the chamber’s President and CEO.

The new space is more visible than the old one, and puts the chamber closer to the Chester County Historical Society and Uptown! Knauer Performing Arts Center. It also features floor-to-ceiling windows on the west side, ensuring that the space is always full of natural light.

“This is an opportunity to really connect with the community at large, and it’s a beautiful space,” said Yoder.

The GWCCC will share the new location with the West Chester Business Improvement District (BID).
