Ronald L. Williams and Stephanie Nolan Deviney, both partners at Fox Rothschild’s Exton office, spoke at the prominent Las Vegas Construction SuperConference last week.

The pair participated in a panel entitled “You Can Try a Case Against a Design Professional Successfully with a Jury.” Williams, co-chair of Fox Rothschild’s nationwide Construction Law Group, served as moderator, while Deviney was one of the four panelists.

The panel provided a road map to achieve desired results from a jury when it comes to trying a case against a design professional. Attendees learned:

• important considerations for construction cases that you plan to try with a jury
• utilization of technology to present construction concepts, construction defects, and damages to a jury
• the importance of effective selection of construction experts to support your case, introduce trial counsel’s theories of liability and damages, and get the jury to the result you desire

Williams, a seasoned litigator, focuses his practice on construction litigation and the negotiation of construction contracts.

Deviney has more than 20 years of litigation experience in both state and federal courts throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
