Chester County Home to Three of State’s Top 10 Public High Schools, Including No. 1

Conestoga High School once again topped the latest public high school rankings for the state of Pennsylvania, while Chester County claimed three schools in the Top 10 and nine in the Top 50.

Based on academics, diversity, teachers, college prep, clubs and activities, and health and safety as determined by U.S. Department of Education data and Niche analysis, Conestoga also claimed No. 37 nationally in the Niche 2018 Best Public High Schools rankings.

Also making the state’s Top 10 were No. 6 Unionville and No. 9 Downingtown STEM. Other high-performing schools in the area included No. 14 Great Valley, No. 30 Bayard Rustin, No. 36 Henderson, and No. 38 Downingtown East, all of which earned A+ grades from the school and neighborhood review website.

Earning an A were No. 43 Kennett and No. 47 West Chester East.
