Community Fest will take place on Saturday, Oct. 14, from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM in Downingtown’s Kerr Park.
A family event, the festival will feature food trucks, live music, arts and crafts vendors, and an array of fun and educational activities for women, men, and children of all ages. Local nonprofits will also be on hand to share information on how to get involved in the community.

Community Fest will directly follow Downingtown Mayor Josh Maxwell’s Mayor’s 5K to End Gender-Based Violence, with proceeds benefitting the Domestic Violence Center of Chester County, the Crime Victims’ Center of Chester County, and CCFWG.
CCFWG’s mission is just as strong today as it was 20 years ago. It remains a bold, strategic, and creative leader in uniting community partners and individuals around a shared commitment to women, girls, and their families. From homelessness and domestic violence to healthcare access and education, CCFWG has listened to the diverse voices and perspectives in the community to tackle some of the toughest challenges.
In its 20th year, CCFWG welcomes both long-time supporters and new friends to help it celebrate its history – past and present – as it looks toward a bright future.
