The Chester County Fund for Women and Girls’ Grants Allocation Committee (GAC) has awarded $193,000 in grants to 20 nonprofit agencies serving the needs of women and girls throughout Chester County.

The needs of women, girls, and families are just as diverse as the county, home to more than 500,000 people, itself.

To date, the West Chester-based CCFWG has directed nearly $3 million to 71 nonprofit agencies to strategically address persisting needs, including homelessness, domestic violence, and women’s health. Through its inclusive and community-driven process, GAC ensures that CCFWG continues to lead and unite the community through philanthropy and advocacy to ensure that women and girls have resources and opportunities to thrive.
