The Chester County Chamber of Business and Industry will host its Women Influencing Business Reception with a twist this year.

The CCCBI’s annual tradition of celebrating the accomplishments of female business leaders in the community will be held on Wednesday, July 22, both in person (from 5:30-7 PM), as well as streamed online (from 6-6:30 PM).

The event was rescheduled from its original date, June 25. Only 100 tickets are available for the in-person portion of the reception at the Hilton Garden Inn in Exton.

The CCCBI will honor its Female Rising Star of the Year, Clare Freimuth of Truist Bank (formerly BB&T), and its Female Executive of the Year, Stacy Martin of Hankin Group.

Freimuth is Vice President of Commercial Lending at Truist Bank and serves clients in Chester and Delaware counties and the surrounding area. In her role, she partners with businesses and nonprofits to provide solutions for planning and executing for the future.

Over the last nine years, Freimuth has worked in various roles throughout the bank, including risk management, portfolio management, commercial underwriting, and relationship management. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Belmont Abbey College in North Carolina and is a graduate of Leadership Chester County, a program provided through the United Way of Chester County.

Freimuth, who relocated from Orlando to Paoli in 2017 with her husband, currently serves on the Upper Main Line YMCA Advisory Board, the Board of Directors for the Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania, and the Board of Directors for the Chester County Economic Development Council.

“As a newer resident of Chester County, I’m especially appreciative to the community for allowing me to be part of an amazing group of women who have received this award,” said Freimuth. “I’m thankful that BB&T, now Truist, encourages its employees to be active members of their communities, and I appreciate all that the Chester County Chamber of Business and Industry does to help us grow our networks and businesses.”

Martin is Hankin Group’s Director of Commercial Sales & Leasing and boasts more than 25 years of experience in her industry. Her responsibilities include securing new tenant leases, maintaining existing tenant relationships, marketing, pre-leasing new development projects, budgeting, mentoring, and marketing and industry analytics.

“This honor is a milestone that reminds me how powerful it can be to stop and recognize all the great work going on all around us, by so many,” said Martin. “It is also motivating and humbling, as it is also a reminder that, with the work we do every day, we can find so many opportunities to make an impact. I am thankful that my work with Hankin Group and the chamber have provided ample opportunities over the years. This honor will be a constant source of inspiration to continue to serve and lift up others.”

Prior to joining Hankin Group, Martin worked as Vice President of Leasing for O’Neill Properties, Director of Leasing for Korman Commercial Properties, and as a commercial real estate broker for CBRE, an international brokerage firm.

She serves as President of the Pennsylvania/New Jersey/Delaware Chapter of the CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) Institute and is the first female elected to the position since the organization’s inception in 1979.
