Residents of Caln Township will soon be spoiled for choice when it comes to the conveniences of Royal Farms and Wawa, which are opening new stores in the area, writes Brian McCullough for the Daily Local News.

The two chains are currently hard at work getting three stores ready, one from Royal Farms and two from Wawa.

“We’re happy to see commercial construction returning,” said Township Manager Kristen Denne. “It’s an amenity for our community.”

One of the Wawa stores will be at the corner of Route 340 and Business Route 30, while the other will be at Reeceville and Fisherville roads close to Brandywine Hospital. The upcoming Royal Farms store is on Route 322 near Downingtown West High School.

According to Denne, the Wawa at Reeceville and Fisherville roads is closest to completion. The other location is still in the planning process.

Both Wawa stores are expected to open in spring next year. Royal Farms has not yet provided an opening date for its store.
