The YMCA of Greater Brandywine is an association of eight YMCAs that offer life-changing programs for children, families, and adults throughout Chester County. Director of Annual Giving

Under the direction of the Chief Development Officer, this position conceptualizes, organizes, and implements a comprehensive strategic annual fundraising program. This includes supporting the branches with their annual appeals and ensuring that annual Mission Advancement goals are met at each branch. The person is also responsible for revenue, event planning, prospecting, gift processing and acknowledgement, and reporting.

The ideal candidate will excel at building and sustaining relationships, exhibit exemplary oral and written communication skills, and possess strong project management skills. A bachelor’s degree in business and/or public administration, or a related field, or equivalent is preferred. Five years of experience in fundraising is required. CFRE required. Raiser’s Edge experience is preferred.

Data Analyst

Under the direction of the Chief Information Officer, this position is responsible for managing and analyzing YMCA of Greater Brandywine data by creating reporting mechanisms and developing quality control processes for data validation. The person will work closely with the branch operations teams using and requesting the data.

The ideal candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, economics, or statistics, and a minimum of three years of experience in a data analyst role. Experience in SQL and advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required. Experience with Power BI is a plus. Knowledge of relational databases is required, as is the ability to work with diverse groups of people in a friendly and consistent manner. This position must have good judgment, the ability to solve problems, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. This person should also be a self-starter with strong attention to details.
