Gawthrop Greenwood Names John Larkin Partner

John Larkin

John “Jack” Larkin has been named a partner by Gawthrop Greenwood, a law firm with offices in West Chester and Wilmington.

As the leader of the firm’s criminal defense department, Larkin offers clients the benefit of his experience as a former prosecutor. Civilly, he focuses his practice on financial and insurance matters.

Larkin’s published works have appeared in law journals at the Georgetown University School of Law, Vanderbilt Law School, and the University of Florida Law School, as well as in the American Journal of Trial Advocacy, the Pennsylvania Bar Association Quarterly, and the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s At Issue.

Larkin has received the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association’s James J. Mandarino Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy. Named to the list of “Rising Stars” by Super Lawyers, and a Main Line Today “Top Lawyer,” he is also the chairman of the American Red Cross – Chester County Leadership Board.

Larkin is a graduate of Oberlin College, where he graduated with honors. While at Villanova Law School, he received the Pennsylvania Environmental Law Forum scholarship and was a Dean’s Merit Scholar.
