Home Depot is hiring more than 80,000 workers due to its busy spring season, with 1,346 of them in Greater Philadelphia, including Chester County.

More than 80,000 new jobs are being created at Home Depot to meet increased spring demand, with nearly 1,500 of them in the Greater Philadelphia area, including Chester County, according to a staff report from the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The new opportunities at the retail giant include openings for cashiers, sales, operations, and online order fulfillment. While a number of these new positions are seasonal, there are also part-time, yet permanent, long-term openings.

Among the available spots in Chester County, the Downingtown location is looking to fill 28 new positions, while there are 15 new job openings at the Parkesburg site. Frazer’s Home Depot is also hiring, with 14 positions available.

Application information can be found at the Home Depot careers page.

“We want everyone to have an easy and convenient experience with The Home Depot, whether they’re shopping with us or applying for a position,” said Tim Crow, Home Depot’s executive vice president of Human Resources.
