The popular historic Philadelphia site Boathouse Row will be recreated out of Lego at the new Legoland Discover Center in the Plymouth Meeting Mall.

The upcoming Legoland Discover Center in the Plymouth Meeting Mall will be bringing a piece of historic Philadelphia to Montgomery County made entirely out of the toy bricks, writes Kenneth Hilario for Philadelphia Business Journal.

The eagerly anticipated family friendly destination broke ground four months ago when more than 50,000 Lego bricks were poured as a symbolic kick off to its construction.

The Lego Boathouse Row will be featured at the center once it opens its doors to fans of all ages this spring.

The stunning attraction will feature Boathouse Row with lighting that will shift between day and night. This will allow the Lego Boathouse Row to show off its iconic lights notes the company’s Facebook page.

In addition, visitors will be able to interact with the miniature recreation by racing small boats on the Miniland’s Schuylkill River.

According to a company’s spokeswoman, more information on this and other planned attractions will be available next week during a presentation that will include Mayor Jim Kenney.
