Boutique in Paoli Joins Pink Lemonade Stand Challenge, Raises Funds for Breast Cancer Research

Messages of remembrance for breast cancer patients and survivors.

Polka Dots, a women’s boutique in Paoli, recently took part in the Pink Lemonade Stand Challenge to help raise money for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, according to a report from 6ABC.

The foundation aims “to prevent and cure breast cancer by advancing the world’s most promising research,” according to its website.

In addition to supporting cancer research, it works to raise breast cancer awareness and encourages community service.

For the challenge, Polka Dots owners set up a pink stand in front of its boutique, offering lemonade to customers and passersby. While the pink beverage was free, people could donate to the foundation in honor of a family member or a friend they know who battled breast cancer.
