GWCC Thanks Christmas Parade Volunteers
As Chester County’s premier home shopping network airs tape of this year’s spectacular QVC West Chester Christmas Parade, the organizing Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce is airing special appreciation for the numerous dedicated volunteers who helped make it happen.
The QVC West Chester Christmas Parade “is one of West Chester’s biggest community events, and our volunteers are a big reason for its success,” the GWCC stated.
Community volunteers set up the Holiday Village, loaded vendor booths, marshaled the parade itself as well as traffic around it, handled 20-foot balloons, animated inflatable characters, dismantled and packed up the main stage and more.
Key supporters in the massive volunteer effort included West Chester University, the West Chester Area School District, the GWCC Volunteer Committee and Sgt. Rosario’s U.S. Army Recruiting Center.
Thank you to everyone whose time and hard work were instrumental to putting on the QVC West Chester Christmas Parade.
