Consulting Director, Professional Services

This position focuses on building and maintaining customer relationships for the Professional Services Organization’s roles in all software implementation projects. He/she provides business accountability for a portfolio of customer projects and may act as relationship manager in addition to engagement manager/director if needed. The person ensures consistent practices and success for all customers in the portfolio. He/she also forecasts and manages financials for the portfolio.

The ideal candidate has the ability to understand Guidewire’s business, the insurance industry, and P/L at the customer account level, and can make financial decisions that improve business results or achieve desired outcomes. He/she will have the ability to develop, maintain, and strengthen relationships with customers, partners, employees, and other stakeholders and deliver exceptional results.

Functional Sales Consultant

This position understands detailed customer needs, defines how Guidewire solutions can meet those needs, and persuades through tailored proposals and demonstrations the superiority of Guidewire’s solutions. He/she serves as a subject matter expert in the core operations of a P/C insurance carrier and engages in business consulting activities. The person presents customized demonstrations for customers, and maintains the personal demonstration environment, including the execution of standard product configurations.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of five years of pre-sales experience with enterprise software. He/she must have experience in the P/C insurance industry and the ability to understand business process needs, and conceptualizes which needs can be satisfied through Guidewire’s software. The person will have experience with software implementation and configuring demonstration systems built with modern software technology.
