West Chester Preservation Awards

The Sixth Annual West Chester Preservation Awards Ceremony and Reception is being hosted by the West Chester Downtown Foundation on Thursday, Oct. 20 at the Chester County Historical Society at 225 North High Street. The event kicks off at 5:30 PM and includes a light buffet and a wine and beer bar.

The program aims to increase the awareness and appreciation of West Chester’s historic character and inspire awareness of the need to preserve its historic integrity. Seven awards will be handed out during the ceremony across various categories, including the Bricks & Mortar Preservation Award, the Preservation Service Award, and the West Chester Preservation Legacy Award. Trinseo

Berwyn’s Trinseo is constructing a new Solution-Styrene Butadiene Rubber pilot plant in Schkopau, Germany, for its Synthetic Rubber Business. The plant is expected to be finished and ready to start operations by the end of next year and will increase the efficiency of Trinseo’s production facilities by speeding up the development process from when a product tests successfully in the lab to full commercialization.

“This strategic investment will allow us to be more agile and flexible than ever before in our ability to turn around S-SBR product testing,” said Samer Al Jabi, Trinseo’s Global Business Director for Synthetic Rubber.

Teleflex

Wayne’s Teleflex has received the green light from the Food and Drug Administration for its Arrow JACC with Chlorag+ard Technology and TightTrack tunneler. The long-term, tunneled, small French size antithrombogenic and antimicrobial central venous catheter is also designed for use with high-pressure injection for diagnostic studies.

This latest addition by the innovative developer and provider of medical devices for critical care and surgery boosts its products line, and helps it tap into the market for patients with end-stage renal disease.
