With Selene Saison, Victory Brewing Enters a Crisp New Season

By

Victory Brewing Co. is introducing a crisp new season of drinking with its chocolatey and roasty new offering, Selene Saison.

Just in time for autumn, Victory Brewing Co. has entered a refreshingly dark and cool season with the debut of Selene Saison.

The perfect sequel to Helios Ale’s splash of summer, this heavenly sister features trademark Victory Brewing ingenuity in a wild-fermented farmhouse-style dark saison brewed with extra delicious darkness via chocolate and roasty flavors. Selene is the Greek goddess of the moon and sister to Helios, the Greek sun god.

“When we were dreaming up Selene Saison, we had a great canvas in Helios Ale,” Founder and Brewmaster Bill Covaleski said. “Because farmhouse styles focus on individuality, we had a lot of creative license to make an enjoyable yet completely unique saison. We wanted to showcase the dark side foil against the sunny side of Helios, which resulted in a delicious, wild-fermented celebration of the season for all to enjoy.”

The newest Victory Brewing creation is served with 7.5 percent alcohol by volume on draft and in 750-milliliter bottles throughout the brewery’s 35-state footprint. It retails for a suggested price tag of $9.
