Tennessee’s Community Health Systems, the owner of Brandywine, Jennersville Regional, and Phoenixville hospitals is currently reviewing its financial options after reporting a loss of 1.43 billion in the second quarter. The company issued a statement last week that it is in discussion with financial sponsors which may result in its sale but no timeline has yet been established.

Denise Lindsay, Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Meridian Bank, has been appointed to the Pennsylvania Bankers Association’s Women in Banking Advisory Committee. During her three year term, she will assist women in areas such as professional development, mentoring, networking and volunteerism.
