Last Wednesday night at The Pour House in Exton, a small gathering of people were chatting in an intimate, party-like setting, smiling over shining glasses of golden beer.

They were gathered to celebrate the release of a new house beer crafted by Victory Brew Company, exclusive to The Pour House’s three locations in Exton, North Wales, and Westmont, NJ. The Pour House is known for its extensive beer menu, which features  classic favorites and unique craft brews, and friendly service in a tavern-style environment.

The beer, ‘The Pour House Hoppy White’, is an American Pale Wheat Ale at 5.9% ABV with a wallet-friendly price of five dollars per pint.  It’s a golden and bubbly beer with a frothy white layer of head floating above the brass rim of the glass.

In terms of taste, The Pour House combined the flavors and essences of three beers; a pale ale, the Allagash White, and an IPA.  The result is a citrusy, crisp, and slightly tart taste. Hops linger pleasantly on one’s tongue between sips.

The Hoppy White Ale is the second such collaboration between Victory and the P.J.W. Group. Ten years ago, Victory brewed a rustic ‘Copper Lager’ for the restaurateurs.

“We were thrilled to work with our friends at Victory again. They understand better than anyone our commitment to serving great beer. We are proud of the reputation The Pour House has earned as a beer-lover’s craft beer bar and we hope our loyal fans love Hoppy White Ale as much as we loved making it,” said Jim Fris, COO of the P.J.W. Group.

Everyone works together within the company which makes for an easy and respectful relationship between the managers and the staff, said Jeff Cerra, general manager of The Pour House in Exton. Into the evening, Cera talked with guests and offered an insider’s view into the company, which, he said, is dedicated to providing delicious food and beer to their customers.

So long as that dedication remains, it’s likely you’ll find customers raising their glasses to The Pour House.

Cheers!
