Local Sites Bring the World of Harry Potter to Chester County, According to Pyknic Blog

Inspired by the premiere of the new Harry Potter play, here are some local sites any look-a-like would feel right at home in.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter has descended upon Chester County for the premiere of the franchise’s new play — or at least parts of Chester County.

Don your best Harry Potter costume and step into his fantasy world by visiting these few local sites recommended in a Pyknic feature by Rebecca Poole.

There’s the English countryside-esque The Whip Tavern in Coatesville, tasty Harry Potter snacks at the Barnes & Noble cafe, old-fashioned treats at Sugartown Country Store in Malvern, the supernatural Bates Motel and Haunted Hayride in Glen Mills and the nearby Hogwarts Express-vibed Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway in Jim Thorpe.

“Break out the Nimbus 2000 from the back of your closet and head to these spots if you’re feeling particularly nostalgic. Or I guess driving works too,” Poole wrote.
