The Wizarding World of Harry Potter has descended upon Chester County for the premiere of the franchise’s new play — or at least parts of Chester County.
Don your best Harry Potter costume and step into his fantasy world by visiting these few local sites recommended in a Pyknic feature by Rebecca Poole.
There’s the English countryside-esque The Whip Tavern in Coatesville, tasty Harry Potter snacks at the Barnes & Noble cafe, old-fashioned treats at Sugartown Country Store in Malvern, the supernatural Bates Motel and Haunted Hayride in Glen Mills and the nearby Hogwarts Express-vibed Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway in Jim Thorpe.
“Break out the Nimbus 2000 from the back of your closet and head to these spots if you’re feeling particularly nostalgic. Or I guess driving works too,” Poole wrote.
