WSFS Financial has launched a new type of branch design at its West Goshen location to take into account the developing needs of its customers by removing traditional teller lines. Instead, the branch features banking pods where its universal bankers can help with any issue and private living rooms for meetings and discussions.

The Brandywine Health Foundation has welcomed new members Judith Spangler, Richard Clark, Carl Smith, and Sam Slater to its Board of Directors. “They jumped in feet first by attending a summer planning retreat,”   said Frances Sheehan, BHF’s President and CEO. “All four agreed that they were beyond impressed with the range of programming, quality of facilities, and the visionary staff and volunteers.”

The Coatesville Youth Philanthropy Program, organized by the Brandywine Health Foundation, is looking for teens between the ages of 14 and 18 who are interested in acting as board members and program officers for a special fund. As a CAYPP member, there is the opportunity to learn non-profit and business skills and the chance to lead and make important funding decisions for area non-profits.

Chris and Melanie Tabakin held the 11th annual Caribbean Party fundraiser at their Exton home, welcoming over 300 people to help raise funds for two nonprofit organizations. The event brought in over $6,000, which was then matched by anonymous supporters resulting in over $12,000 for iHi International and the Caribbean Christian Centre for the Deaf.
