The leader of Malvern Federal Savings Bank tipped his own hat — and a little of the nearly-130-year-old community bank’s coffers — to the regal display of gold- and silver-studded hats throughout the 120th Devon Horse Show and Country Fair on Ladies Day last week.

Malvern Federal sponsored this year’s ever-popular Ladies Day, and President and CEO Anthony C. Weagley served as one of nine judges of the legendary hat contest.

“Ladies Day is not to be missed; dozens of contestants from all around the tri-state area ‘wow’ spectators with their imaginative hat creations and matching outfits,” event senior chair Laura Wood said in announcing the theme in April. “… It’s an incredibly fun, memorable occasion for everyone!”

The Malvern Federal executive cast his vote among style editors, designers, fashion entrepreneurs, TV celebrities and other high-profile leaders.
