Exton’s Christine Meyer, MD & Associates will be welcoming a new doctor into the fold on June 13th, when Madeleine Heaney, MD, joins the award-winning medical practice as its seventh practitioner.

Currently based in Paoli, Heaney will join the practice part-time to help grow the office’s already broad appointment hours. A graduate of University of Rochester, she also did her residency training there in the Primary Care Program in Internal Medicine and went on to serve a year as Chief Medical Resident.

Among her distinguished accomplishments is winning the David A. Haller Award for Outstanding Devotion and Contributions to Patient Care from The University of Rochester Department of Medicine. She also served on the Main Line Health Cancer Survivorship Committee from 2013 to 2014.

Heaney, who practiced in Rochester, New York for years, returned to Paoli to be closer to her family. Since her return, she has been serving the community as a Primary Care doctor for eight years.

“Joining the CMMD & Associates family — and I truly get the sense it is a family — is the next great step in my career,” she said. “Dr. Meyer and I hit it off right away. Our backgrounds are similar, our passions are aligned, and I know this is a respected person and physician.”

According to Meyer, Heaney is joining the office at a crucial time as the practice has moved into bigger premises to accommodate more practitioners. In addition, the practice boasts a collaborative office environment that helps to meet its growth goals and keep the practice humming.

“I look forward to being a part of a team environment like that,” commented Heaney.
