Update: Here Are the Chester County ZIP Codes Where COVID-19 Has Spread the Most in the Last Week

Cases of COVID-19 continue to increase rapidly across the state, with some areas affected more than others, write Sean Adams and Megan Lavey-Heaton for the Harrisburg Patriot-News.

The latest numbers compiled by the Pennsylvania Department of Health highlight the rates of COVID-19 infection in each ZIP Code for the seven days ending Dec. 16, compared to infection rates for the seven days prior.

The highest percentage increase in Chester County during this period was recorded in ZIP Code 19375 (Unionville.) Here, the number of confirmed cases grew from 10 to 13, or 30 percent.

Meanwhile, ZIP Code 19310 (Atglen) recorded a rise of 26 percent, with cases increasing from 77 to 97.

In ZIP Code 19363 (Oxford), the number of cases went up from 533 to 637, or 20 percent. Meanwhile, ZIP Code 19390 (West Grove) recorded a 19 percent increase in cases, going from 424 to 503.

Finally, ZIP Code 19350 (Landenberg) saw an increase of 18 percent, with the number of confirmed cases going from 273 to 321.
