The Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce is the leading organization focused on serving local businesses and entrepreneurs in order to help them build relationships, network, and promote their business. Its focus on helping its members attain new customers, address their most serious business challenges, and become an integral part of a thriving business community.

Marketing/Communication Manager

This position is responsible for all marketing and communication-related initiatives. This includes weekly email marketing/design, social media scheduling and monitoring (quarterly marketing reports), content blogging, bi-monthly print newsletter layout (InDesign), event promotional items (posters, flyers, brochures, etc.), and monitoring online and print advertising contracts.

He/she will be tasked with updating and maintaining the chamber’s website pages and microsite development (WordPress), in addition to coordinating and creating online banners, advertisements, newsletter supplements, invites, and other imagery associated with the Greater West Chester brand (Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop). The person will be responsible for updating members and “shops” in the chamber’s ThinkShopBuy … LOCAL mobile app. He/she will also assist in the creation and implementation of upcoming branded campaigns.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and/or Communications, and have one to two years of applicable experience. He/she should have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and be skilled with Adobe Creative Suite. The person should have highly advanced copywriting skills, graphic design experience, and extreme knowledge of all social-media platforms. Overall, the candidate must be able to take ownership of aforementioned initiatives, while being an effective communicator and problem-solver across multiple channels and local businesses.
