To-Jo will make a direct donation and give funds from sales of its 8 oz. Whole and Sliced Mushrooms between April 29th and June 2nd.

Local ACME Stores will support the campaign through in-store signage and online meal information and easy to prepare recipes, with many stores also planning to host recipe demonstrations, special events, and displays.

“To-Jo is proud to support Feeding America through its partnership with Produce for Kids and ACME,” said To-Jo Mushrooms President Anthony D’Amico. “Giving back is something that is very important to the culture here at To-Jo. If we can provide assistance to the communities where our products are sold, making an impact on the people directly affected by hunger in our area, that is a huge win for us.”

To-Jo is also co-hosting the #SimplySummer Twitter Party with Produce for Kids and Shuman Produce on May 18th starting at 9:00 p.m. to raise awareness of the campaign.
