Uber Technologies Inc. is an American multinational transportation company headquartered in San Francisco. It develops, markets, and operates the Uber mobile app, which allows consumers with smartphones to submit a trip request which is then routed to Uber drivers who use their own cars. The service is available in more than 60 countries and 404 cities worldwide.

Uber recently struck a deal with SEPTA to offer 40 percent (up to $10) off an Uber ride to one of the 11 SEPTA train stations where parking is at a premium, including the Wayne and Exton stations.

The pilot program will start Memorial Day and end Labor Day.
