The KSQ Anniversary Beer

By Lauren McClusick,

On Wednesday, Victory held a special celebration to mark the first anniversary of their Kennett Square brewpub Victory at Magnolia.

It’s been a good year, said Matt Kreuger, VP of Retail Operations at Victory. “We are absolutely honored to be welcomed to the Kennett Square community.” According to Kreuger, Victory at Magnolia has served beer and food at a ton of Kennett Square events–the Mushroom Festival and October Brewfest, to name two.

On this evening, the brewpub served up a five-course meal alongside pitchers of beers carefully selected to enhance and complement each dish.

And since Victory is known to mark occasions with special batch beer, the KSQ Anniversary Beer, a spicy golden ale with notes of lemon, ginger, and tarragon also joined the spread.

Overall the birthday celebration was about acknowledging the symbiosis between Victory Brewing Company and the Kennett Square community.

Being an engaged company at the community level is a huge priority at Victory, and they’re doing their best said Kreuger.

“If you chase perfection, you’ll catch excellence.”
