Gawthrop Greenwood Lends Leadership to American Red Cross

The Chester County Leadership Council has found its new Chairman in Gawthrop Greenwood attorney John E. D. Larkin, who has a been a member of the council for the last three years. Another Gawthrop Greenwood attorney, Jessica K. Wiesak, has also been appointed as a member of the organization’s board.

The Chester County Leadership Council is a group of area professionals who work together to help raise funds and awareness for Eastern Pennsylvania’s branch of the American Red Cross, while Gawthrop Greenwood is a law firm that assists clients throughout the greater mid-Atlantic region and the nation.

An alumnus of Oberlin College, Larkin joined Gawthrop Greenwood in 2013. He concentrates his practice in the firm’s litigation department, focusing primarily on civil financial and insurance matters. He also leads the firm’s criminal department where he gives his clients the full benefit of his experience as a former prosecutor.

Wiesak, who joined Gawthrop Greenwood in 2014, focuses her practice on business, real estate, education, municipal, and land development law. She holds an undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and previously worked as program coordinator at the American Red Cross House in West Philadelphia.
