Enrollment Management Programmer/Analyst

This position will support the college through ongoing customization and utilization of WebFOCUS, particularly as it is used to support the extraction of data from Banner and creation of reports used by administration.  He/she will use a combination of MS Access, WebFOCUS, Content Management System, SQL and Document Management System (BDMS) to develop specifications and design reports. The person will also be expected to support and train report writers and non-technical users of WebFOCUS.

The ideal candidate must have a Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, as well as a minimum of five years of programming and analytical experience supporting computing users in a networked environment. Experience as a Systems Analyst directly supporting a college/university Registrar’s operation is required. Functional and/or technical experience with Banner Student information forms and tables is essential.

Integrated Enrollment Services Advisor

This position provides primary in-person, telephone, and e-mail customer service, assisting students with admissions, financial aid, cashiering, and registration activities using the one-stop model. He/she must be able and willing to function independently to handle student inquiries on a one-on-one basis but would also operate as a member of a team. Central to the position is the goal of meeting customer needs through timely and accurate information dissemination and service, supporting our mission of access to the communities we serve, and laying the foundation for student success.

The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, and the ability to work with diverse populations. He/she will have demonstrated experience in providing front-line customer service, and the ability to remain calm and pleasant when dealing with difficult people or conflict.

Counselor

This position is a generalist counseling position requiring a full range of counseling skills, including personal, crisis, career, academic, and transfer counseling. He/she will work with students individually and in groups to help them be successful in their career and education goals while at the College. The person will place an emphasis on student retention, success, and completion as well as the College’s student early alert system.

The ideal candidate must have a Master’s Degree in counseling, and at least two years of counseling experience (preferably in higher education). He/she must have excellent interpersonal and verbal skills, as well as the demonstrated ability to establish positive working relationships with faculty, students, and staff.
