Holocaust Survivor Shares his Story with West Chester Rustin High School Students

David Tuck, a Holocaust survivor, spoke to students at West Chester Rustin High School on Monday morning about that horrific part of his life as part of the collaboration with the Holocaust Awareness Museum and Education Center. Tuck talked about the German invasion of Poland when he was ten years old, his time in Lodz Getto and the labor camps before he was moved to Auschwitz and his final liberation, when the U.S. 11th Armored Division arrived at the Mauthausen-Gusen concentration camp in May 1945.

Oxford Rotary Foundation Leads an Inclusionary Playground Project

Oxford Rotary Foundation is heading a project to build an inclusionary playground in the Oxford Memorial Park that will benefit children with special needs. Plans for the park include innovative playground equipment that is specifically designed for children with mobility challenges, as it has elements that are wide enough to accommodate wheelchairs or for adults to accompany children into the play area.
