Today is the Final Day to Vote in Student “What’s So Cool About Manufacturing?” Contest

By

This election season, don’t forget to vote in a very important race – the “What’s So Cool About Manufacturing?” student video contest!

Organized through the Manufacturing Alliance of Chester and Delaware Counties (MACC/DC), an initiative of CCEDC, each two minute video was created by a team of students and their teacher using a GoPro camera kit that they took into local manufacturing companies to capture what’s so cool about a company’s products, workforce, and technology.

The contest is an excellent way to generate awareness of what an advanced manufacturing career may look like to our younger tech-savvy generation and will help dispel the outdated image of the industry.

It’s a great introduction for the community to the lean and clean work environments consistent in the high-tech field of today’s manufacturing.

Voting is open for THREE DAYS ONLY – March 29-31.

Here is the Dowingtown STEM Academy’s entry:

All the student- created videos are just as good!  Don’t take our word for it!  See for yourself.

Do it today, like right now maybe!
