Your package is in safe hands if West Chester UPS driver John Astler Jr. is delivering it. Astler just joined the elite ranks of the global delivery service’s Circle of Honor for logging 25 years behind the wheel without a single accident.
Astler was one of 70 in the state to earn the accolade — out of 102,000 drivers worldwide.
“My thanks go to all of them for their dedication and focus and for the countless lives they’ve saved,” East Region President George Brooks said in a West Chester Patch report by Karen Wall and Justin Heinze. “Their attention to detail has kept them safe and has helped improve public safety.”
