Support of Boy Scouts Comes Right Out of Jaws’ Playbook

Ron "Jaws" Jaworski

Downingtown’s upcoming inspirational Boy Scouts dinner comes right out of the Jaws playbook. Keynote speaker Ron Jaworski will champion the positive influence Scouting provides from a perspective of his own life-changing support of at-risk youth through the Jaws Youth Playbook foundation.

The former Eagles quarterback and ESPN analyst will headline the Thursday, April 7, Boy Scouts of America Pacesetter Dinner at the Downingtown Country Club.

Jaws’ thoughts on the state of the NFL and the Philadelphia Eagles will follow on the heels of his reasons for standing behind organizations like the Boy Scouts — which reaches more than 6,000 Chester County youth each year with a message of ethics, moral values, becoming a leader, accepting responsibility, caring about others and accomplishing things they never thought they could.

The fundraiser for the programs and camps of the Chester County Council of Boy Scouts will begin with a 6 p.m. reception and 7-to-8:30 dinner program.
