Associate Director of Facilities and Information Technology

This position will lead the team responsible for strategy, implementation, and support of core technology infrastructure in alignment with Longwood’s strategic direction. He/she will participate and contribute to overall business technology planning, bringing current knowledge and future vision of technology and systems to business processes to ensure a robust technology structure.

The candidate will be a strong leader and be able to provide hands-on expertise with enterprise communications and software development and support to ensure the security, stability, and proper functioning of IT systems. He/she will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT Management, Business Administration, or a related field, in addition to seven to ten years of progressive experience in leadership roles in developing enterprise software and hardware solutions.

Assistant Guest Experience Manager / Manager on Duty

This position will assist in managing the daily operations of the Gardens, ensuring the health and safety of guests and staff. Responsibilities include serving as a Manager on Duty and acting as the front line of communication for the Guest Services Team, in addition to assisting with crowd management, guest resolution and ensuring the Gardens are guest ready. Additional duties will involve hiring, training and scheduling staff.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience supervising staff, and will come from a customer service, retail, or hospitality background. He/she must be proficient with all Microsoft Office applications.

Visitor Center Assistant Manager

This individual will assist in managing the daily operations of the Visitor Center, including the Contact Center, which handles approximately 120,000 calls on annual basis. Responsibilities will include hiring, managing, training and scheduling staff. He/she will assist with crowd control during peak attendance periods, resolve guest issues, and monitor Visitor Center operations.

The ideal candidate will have five years of experience supervising staff and will come from a customer service, non-profit, retail, or hospitality background. He/she must be proficient with all Microsoft Office applications and possess a background using a point-of-sale system. Knowledge of Call Center Management principals and reporting are required.
